- DAY 1: Check in to your hotel in the Rimini area.
- DAY 2: Today you will learn about Bologna, the capital city of Emilia Romagna. Take a guided city walking tour, visiting (amongst many other things) the “two towers” of Asinelli and Garisenda, the medievalsymbols of the city. Then you’ll be off to an “Acetaia”, where they will show you all kinds of interesting things involved in the production of balsamic vinegar. And the day is not over: you get to taste some prosciutto before going back to your hotel.
- DAY 3: After breakfast, travel to San Marino and enjoy a tour of the oldest republic in the world. From there, head to San Leo, where a wine tasting and a light snack await you.
- DAY 4: In the morning, you’re off to Ravenna, where, in addition to the tomb of Theodoric the Great, you will see the Basilicas of San Vitale and San Apollinare with their world-famous mosaics. In the afternoon pay a visit to Santarcangelo di Romagna where you’ll be treated to a tasting of Olive Oils.
- DAY 5: Journey homeward.
